Email Efficiency Tips from ReplyTool

Helping you to use Email Faster, with less Stress and Hassle

I’m in my first year in college.
I want to send a close, old teacher of mine from high school and email as a check up and just to say hi n’ stuff. At graduation she said I should email her sometime, but I don’t know what to say and how to start. Mainly, I’m unsure how to greet someone more formally in an email, or if I should keep it casual even.

since you said you are her close student… i would say keep it casual… most of people receive a lot of emails on a daily basis..casual writing is the norm.. think about what you would write on a postcard

    Dear XXX,

By heaven’s grace and yours, I am in college now, first year. Still in one piece, prettier and funnier than we last met.

    It’s me, Bxxxx Kxxxxx! ((hugs)) Hahahaha… (^_^)

How are you, my good teacher?

    Blah blah blah…..

By the way, how’s my letter writing? Your teaching is welcome as ever.

    Love, Butterfly.
