I am under the impression that Customer Service no longer exists. When I go "ANYWHERE," it is like no one values their job anymore, and that the customer should be grateful someone is even talking to them. With our economic hardship being the way that they are, you would think people would work even harder to keep customers happy. Also, in restaurants, it is like everyone is "REQUIRED" to leave a tip regardless of how crappy their server was. Where has all of the customer service gone?

Wow, you sound like myself speaking here, lol. You are very right when you talk about how bad customer service has become, its such a shame. I actually feel thankful and LUCKY when I go to a place where I am made to feel special. And no! you are NOT required to tip a bad waiter/waitress. I make sure I let them know through the tip when they havent traeated me right. Last time I went out to eat with my grandma and the waitress decided to wait till i was done eating to bring my salad dressing. Guess what, she got 1 dollar and the salad dressing on top of it, as a tip :P…and after thinking about it after I did it, I think i should have only left 25 cents.

Customer service is a joke in some shops you go into the staff do not know how to say please and thank you. I do know a few shops with very good staff who are pleasant and use manners. I wrote a complaint letter to Morrison’s supermarket about their rude staff and got no reply. I have just sent a second letter.
