A woman from AT&T called me after I applied online, and asked me a few questions regarding the job. Then she set up an appointment with me that she said would take around 3 hours. AT&T employees- what should I expect?

This is basically the second phase of your job interview, the first part being the phone interview. You’ll be told information about the company, and your training schedule should you be hired. You’ll be told about the benefits that come with the job. You’ll be asked to provide your work history and references; be honest because the background check is thorough.

You’ll then take a customer service simulation; it will be as if you’re customer service rep taking calls. You’ll be given several different scenarios, and they’ll want to know how you’ll react. I think your typing skills will be tested as well. Once you finish the simulation you’ll be taken aside for a one-on-one interview. If they decide you’re a good candidate, they’ll invite you back for another interview. That’s how my process went/

What is the difference between " Corel Word Perfect 10 Productivity Pack " and the " Microsoft Works 9 " ? We're not too computer savy yet and are trying to use it to send email resume's, but with the "Corel Word Perfect 10" it just doesn't look very good after we put the resume on it. Someone suggested using the " Microsoft Works 9 Program ". Hope someone can help us with this . Thank You for any help .

Do yourself a favor and uninstall all that stuff.

If you want something nice, easy to use and free, download OpenOffice. It has a word processor that will allow you to create resumes and save them as Word documents that most corporations will require if you email your resume.

Or you could go out and buy Microsoft Office for 500$.

An autoresponder is a computer program that automatically answers e-mail sent to it. Today's autoresponders need to be careful to not generate e-mail backscatter, which can result in the autoresponses being considered E-mail spam.

I am wondering what is needed to get the position as a cashier and customer service representative in Kohl's. Are their any tip on how to do the job good when if I get the job.

The following reply is by : jenk :
Experience would definitely help. Kohl's is very picky when hiring new associates. Make sure you look presentable and eager to work there. They always look for someone reliable, punctual, honest and friendly. The more flexible your schedule is the more hours you're likely to receive. You're also expected to solicit as many kohl's charge applications as possible each day so be prepared to be constantly badgered about it. The associates discount is nice and every couple of weeks, they'll have a double discount for employees.
Good luck on your interview.

i WAS planning on using the laptop for gaming(call of duty 4, age of empires 3,etc) since the XPS had a great graphics card. I was also planning on using it for education, etc.
Can you guys give me an alternative laptop(not DELL) that would have a similar or better configuration(and a similar graphics card) to the XPS? Thanks,
By the way, I paid 1000.00 USD for the laptop so that price range would be good. :) p.s. it would be nice if the laptop could be comparable to the xps m1530 in style and design(looks slick, etc.)
