If you want something nice, easy to use and free, download OpenOffice. It has a word processor that will allow you to create resumes and save them as Word documents that most corporations will require if you email your resume.

Or you could go out and buy Microsoft Office for 500$.

A woman from AT&T called me after I applied online, and asked me a few questions regarding the job. Then she set up an appointment with me that she said would take around 3 hours. AT&T employees- what should I expect?

This is basically the second phase of your job interview, the first part being the phone interview. You'll be told information about the company, and your training schedule should you be hired. You'll be told about the benefits that come with the job. You'll be asked to provide your work history and references; be honest because the background check is thorough.

You'll then take a customer service simulation; it will be as if you're customer service rep taking calls. You'll be given several different scenarios, and they'll want to know how you'll react. I think your typing skills will be tested as well. Once you finish the simulation you'll be taken aside for a one-on-one interview. If they decide you're a good candidate, they'll invite you back for another interview. That's how my process went/

Just curious, if you talk to random people online or even friends, how important is it to you what you write?

I've noticed when it comes to most random people off the internet chatting with me, I don't think too much, I don't really care.
But there are cases where it's horrible, I keep thinking about whether I wrote the wrong thing, and will it sound ok and how will the other person perceive what I wrote?

Anyone else experiencing this?

Normally I talk on messenger, apart from specific sites with an email feature where I meet people, but I know it's just fun talk, but recently on one site there was a guy that matched with me like 95% and it was so weird, and it was awesome that there was someone I could talk to about certain things and we exchanged some emails there, and I'm happy I made a new friend, he said he had connection problems back at his college and said to email him on his other email.

I know it should be easy like hey, it's me from that website, how's it going? Is that ok? Is it too little, like would he expect more?
Does anyone else go weird sometimes when it comes to sending something as simple as an email?

I don't know why it's bothering me so much. I guess I just don't want to say something wrong and give the wrong impression and in turn put the person off!

It depends on the nature of the e-mail for me.

If it's more than a "how are you doing" or "when do you want to go to lunch," I tend to put it in a word document and put it aside for a while. Then I come back, re-read it and edit if necessary before mailing.

That's what works for me.

Good Luck!

I'm getting prepared to fish the East Coast of South Korea and am looking for beaches from where I can surf fish. Can you recommend a location? The Korea Toursim Website offers beaches from which to fish but it's too generic for me and I'm still waiting for email replies to my questions about specific locations.

I'm into fishing but am the type who baits his hook, casts out beyond the waves, and waits and drinks beer. Daytime or nighttime is fine with me.

I prefer the shoreline but jetties and piers are my secondary choices. I prefer beaches that are not crowded with other people as I like peace and quiet when I fish - the fewer the people in my vicinity the better.

I plan to use shrimp, sand crabs, squid, and anchovies as bait; should I consider other bait?

The key question here is location - suggestions? I'm asking here for efficiency purposes - I don't want to travel up/down the coast looking for a location as my off-time is limited.

And while I've searched Korea looking for other surf fishing anglers, most folks have been fishing from the rocks/cliffs along Korea's coastlines so they can't offer ideas beyond their comfort zone (the rocks/cliffs).

Thanks in advance.

Not to sound obvious but wherever there is the ocean there are fish, they kinda swim around in the water, just a matter of time before they get to where your bait is. Like I taught my kids when it comes to fishing, we go fishing to have fun and relax if we catch fish it is a bonus. It is called fishing and not catching for a reason. Best of luck and hopefully tight lines to you.

Ok it really comes down to your preference pretty much. The Curve has a FULL QWERTY keyboard as opposed to the SureType QWERTY keyboard on the Pearl. Pearl isn't that hard to get used to, but it can be frustrating when it gives you a word you didn't even want. Size of screens, bigger on Curve obviously. And more memory on the Curve….I can only answer that you get the Curve for the 3 reasons I listed above. Because those are the reasons I switched from the Pearl to the Curve after only 2 months…;)
