ECONOMIC EX-LAX
————————- Copyright 2009 by John S.

Congress passed a Spending Bill
Because I have become so ill
I'm the economic state
That hit in Year 2008

I am sick, I'm in recession
Now I fear a Great Depression
Things are all clogged up inside
And employment's in a slide

Losing jobs makes people shy
To spend on things that they might buy
In better times when things were stable
All could put food on the table

People's spending's now a trickle
So my health is in a pickle
I need help, I need a tonic
Lest this stoppage becomes chronic

We must cure across the nation
My economic constipation
Obama has proposed a fix
From his bag of liberal tricks

He will spend like no tomorrow
Dollars that we gotta borrow
Over $700 billion
When it's due, we'll pay a trillion

Stimulus! Oh Stimulus!
Come Stim' me to the Brimulus!
Obama's our Messiah King.. Come kneel and pray to Himulus!
Oh what a leader! What a feeder!
Makin' jobs and he's a breeder!
Spending for the lot of us…No-one thrown beneath the bus.

I have something in my gut
Wanting to pass through my butt
It's the productivity
Missing from our GDP

All caught up in unemployment
Idle hands are no enjoyment
Stimulate my fiscal tract
Books will turn from red to black

Pump me full of voter dollars
Stim' me lots until me hollers
I will make a bumper crop
Of GDP until I pop!

Now the government has doubled
Something's wrong and I am troubled
All these plans were so expensive
Funding them has made me pensive

National debt is astronomic
Something's not quite gastronomic
This big bill we did not question
Now I'm sick with indigestion

Interest payments through the roof
Did someone's calculations goof?
Why did not that welfare check
Make a job, Oh what a wreck!

Now we gotta print some money
China won't be bribed by honey
This inflation is immense
Dollar's now worth 50 cents

Stimulus was not the answer
Now me thinks me has a cancer
Indigestion won't abate
Now we gotta amputate!

Amputate! Yes Amputate!
These prices we must dis-inflate!
Obama's not a Charles the Great…He is just an Addlepate!
While we stoop to surgery
Start with his lobotomy
That's a CHANGE we should create…Spending makes us OVERWEIGHT!

I like this very much. Sums up this new administration well. Obama's Rhetoric Is the Real Catastrophe.

Mr. Obama's analogies to the Great Depression are not only historically inaccurate, they're also dangerous. Repeated warnings about a coming economic apocalypse aren't likely to raise consumer and investor expectations for the future. They have contributed to the continuing decline in consumer confidence that is restraining a spending pickup. Fearmongering can trigger a political stampede to embrace a "recovery" package that delivers a lot less than it promises. A more cool-headed assessment of the economy's woes might produce better policies.

What is the difference between " Corel Word Perfect 10 Productivity Pack " and the " Microsoft Works 9 " ? We're not too computer savy yet and are trying to use it to send email resume's, but with the "Corel Word Perfect 10" it just doesn't look very good after we put the resume on it. Someone suggested using the " Microsoft Works 9 Program ". Hope someone can help us with this . Thank You for any help .

Do yourself a favor and uninstall all that stuff.

If you want something nice, easy to use and free, download OpenOffice. It has a word processor that will allow you to create resumes and save them as Word documents that most corporations will require if you email your resume.

Or you could go out and buy Microsoft Office for 500$.

A woman from AT&T called me after I applied online, and asked me a few questions regarding the job. Then she set up an appointment with me that she said would take around 3 hours. AT&T employees- what should I expect?

This is basically the second phase of your job interview, the first part being the phone interview. You'll be told information about the company, and your training schedule should you be hired. You'll be told about the benefits that come with the job. You'll be asked to provide your work history and references; be honest because the background check is thorough.

You'll then take a customer service simulation; it will be as if you're customer service rep taking calls. You'll be given several different scenarios, and they'll want to know how you'll react. I think your typing skills will be tested as well. Once you finish the simulation you'll be taken aside for a one-on-one interview. If they decide you're a good candidate, they'll invite you back for another interview. That's how my process went/

An autoresponder is a computer program that automatically answers e-mail sent to it. Today's autoresponders need to be careful to not generate e-mail backscatter, which can result in the autoresponses being considered E-mail spam.
