Email Efficiency Tips from ReplyTool

What is the difference between " Corel Word Perfect 10 Productivity Pack " and the " Microsoft Works 9 " ? We're not too computer savy yet and are trying to use it to send email resume's, but with the "Corel Word Perfect 10" it just doesn't look very good after we put the resume on it. Someone suggested using the " Microsoft Works 9 Program ". Hope someone can help us with this . Thank You for any help .

Do yourself a favor and uninstall all that stuff.

If you want something nice, easy to use and free, download OpenOffice. It has a word processor that will allow you to create resumes and save them as Word documents that most corporations will require if you email your resume.

Or you could go out and buy Microsoft Office for 500$.

I work for a rep agency and i take TONS of phonce calls throughout the day. I deal with TONS of paper work and i and TONS of follow ups. its hard for me to juggle all this at once. does anyone have any tips on how to stay more organized? any computer programs that could help me (im very good with computer).
my problems is more or less getting phone calls and needing to follow up, and then i forget due to more phone calls coming in. any tips would be GREAT!!!!!

I wrote my own applicaiton using Microsoft Access as the database and Microsoft IIS webserver to generate ASP scripts. It is quite simple yet very powerful to build custom applications in this manner.

The system can notify you when you follow up, can generate emails to customers, etc.

i sent off my cv and had a telephone interview, ive now been asked to go and do role play in a group of 8, can anyone give me any tips on how i should act or say or anything? many thanks

They may well set up a situation where there is an angry or dissatisfied customer, where you'll need to show that you can listen to their complaint patiently and resolve the situation in a way that leaves the customer happy. Be understanding of what the 'customer' is complaining about. Always LISTEN first to what the customer has to say. However don't sit there endlessly while the 'customer' is ranting on and on and you don't get the chance to speak! If you have to, interrupt in a polite way by saying something like 'Yes, I can see that is a problem…let's see how I can sort it out for you'

If there is something that you are unable to answer. in a role play situation,..don't guess it, say that you'll find out and get back to them a.s.a.p.

The other thing I would suggest is to arrive early so that you can meet the other interviewees and at least get to know their names….this will make you feel more relaxed and if you interact well with them…the interviewer WILL notice as they will be watching out for this.

If there is a break for tea during the interview process, don't let your guard down, they will be watching how you all interact with one another.

An autoresponder is a computer program that automatically answers e-mail sent to it. Today's autoresponders need to be careful to not generate e-mail backscatter, which can result in the autoresponses being considered E-mail spam.

Wow…if you want someone to write something so generic that you just have to fill in names, you obviously aren't very sorry for his loss.

If you truly feel sorry and want to console your friend, tell your girlfriend an email is inappropriate in this instance and send a card with a heartfelt note.

It is better to do nothing at all then to send a generic email that someone else wrote.

*ADD: If she insists on only sending an email, then let her send one and you send a card. She's not a bad person, but not the most tactful of women, that's for sure.

If you take this example of how to set out a letter: http://www.write-for-business.com/images/graphics/sampleletter3.jpg where should one write one's email address and phone number?
This is personal letter, therefore there will be no company letterhead under which to include it.

I was talking to a client recently about why he should add a Email Newsletter Opt-in form on his website so that he can capture email addresses. He said "but Sam I don't like spam".

Newsletter can be an excellent tool for building trust and long term relationship. Building trust and relationship means getting life time customers who would buy from you with pleasure for times to come.
